Description

The Government will issue a Solicitation for Weekly Egg deliveries on or about 1 August 2002. The Government intends to award a Requirements Contract to the Contractor who bids the lowest price, offers any discounts and who in the Government's opinion offers the best value to the Government. The Contractor shall provide the following Milk Products (1) MILK, REDUCED FAT ( 2 % ), HALF-PINTS ( 1/2 ) PLASTIC FIBER. (2) MILK, REDUCED FAT ( 2 % ), BULK 5 GALLON CONTAINER. (3) MILK SKIM (NON-FAT), HALF-PINTS (1/2), PLASTIC FIBER. (4) MILK, SKIM (NON-FAT), BULK 5 GALLON CONTAINER. (5) MILK CHOCOLATE, BULK 5 GALLON CONTAINER. (6) SOUR CREAM, CULTURED OR ACIDIFIED, IN 5 LB. PLASTIC FIBER. (7) CHEESE, COTTAGE, TYPE III, (REGULAR) SUBGROUP 1 OR 2, CLASS 1, (UNFLAVORED), STYLE A OR B, (SMALL OR LARGE CURD) IN 5 LB. PLASTIC FIBER. The Contractor will provide the above Milk products on a weekly basis. The Food Service Department will submit a monthly Delivery Order to the Contracting Officer, and provide the Contractor a Delivery Schedule listing the number of half-pints, gallons and pounds on each item to be delivered on each delivery date. Normal Delivery Days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Except Holidays). The Contractor shall follow the Deliver Schedule provided by the FCI Food Service Department and deliver only the quantities asked for, even if you have to deliver the balance of the order the next working day. Since the Contractor is provided enough lead time, they shall not deliver more than the quantities asked for in the Delivery Schedule, if they do the extra quantities will be refused at the warehouse and become the responsibility of the Contractor and not the Government. The Performance Period will be from date of award or 1 October 2002 (which ever is first) to 30 September 2003. All bids are due by 1:00PM on September 5, 2002.
