- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Leeds, MA. requires the services of an environmental engineering firm to assess a former landfill used for about 40 years starting in 1923. There are no manifests or records of what materials were disposed of in the landfill during that period. Firm to investigate site, determine the boundaries of former landfill, and determine through possible boring or test pits what material may have been diposed of and what further remedial action may be required by VA relative to the dump site, including cost estimates for work. VA will select firm that has substantial experience performing this engineering service. Firm area of consideration should be from New England States. This is a small buisness set-asid.NAICS code is 541330 $4 million or less. Response Date has been changed to June 10, 2002. Only SF 254's and 255's need to be submitted by this date.
