- Description
- This is a synopsis for transient alert services. Contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services. Contractor tasks include but not limited to: Transient Aircraft Management, Aircraft Arrival Services, Aircraft Processing Services, Aircraft Departure Services, Emergency Services, and Environmental Compliance. The Contractor shall perform these Services from 6am to 11pm Monday through Friday and from 6am to 11pm on weekends during normal operations. The contractor must be able to provided overtime manpower during other than normal services hours if the need arises (including weekends and holidays). This commercial acquisition is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the NAICS code 488190, and the related Small Business Size Standard of six million dollars. The performance period is a Base Period from 1 October 2002 to 30 September 2003, and four one-year options. All potential offerors must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS and register in CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) CODE. Solicitation will be issued on or about 15 June 2002. Due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (EPS) website at http:www.fedbizops.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government will utilize best value source selection procedures and will evaluate all options years when awarding the contract. Preproposal Conference/Site Visit will be identified at a later date
