- Description
- Description: Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for ISA and PCI modified High-level Data Link Control (HDLC) cards to Sangoma Technologies Corp, 50 Macintosh Drive, Suite 120, Markham, Ontario L3R 9T3, Canada. These modified HDLC cards will be used to support expansion of the Stategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS). The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because the Sangoma Technologies HDLC card is currently in use. The introduction of alternate HDLC cards would require a complete rewrite of system software and re-certification of the network security plan, which would take 6-12 months. The procurement of these cards in a timely manner is essential to support the mission. Questions should be directed to Tiffany L.
