- Description
- Sole source acquisition, see note 22: Nonpersonal services for operation and maintenance of Clinton-Sherman Airport to support aircrew transition training for Altus AFB, OK. Services will consist of administration, crash/rescue, fire department, airport maintenance and air traffic control. Request for proposal is being issued to the South Western Oklahoma Development Authority of Clinton Oklahoma. A firm-fixed price contract with some cost reimbursable line items for a basic period of 1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003 with nine one-year options is contemplated This solicitation only has opportunities for subcontracting from South Western Oklahoma Development Authority. FAR 52.232-18 AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS applies: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
