- Description
- This is a requirement for ?Rights Guard? data from The Boeing Company. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 19 Jun 02. The response to the solicitation will be due 30 days thereafter, on 19 Jul 02. Anticipated award date is 31 Jul 02. The solicitation will be sole source to The Boeing Company, because it involves the use of their ?Rights Guard? proprietary technical data for the sole purpose of facilitating competitive acquisition of replenishment spare parts for certain U.S. Government owned aircraft which are military derivatives of Boeing?s model 707, 727, 737 and 747 commercial aircraft and their component parts, including but not limited to the -135 series, VC-137, C-18, C-22, E-3A, and T-43 aircraft. The anticipated term of the resulting contract is one year. Although this is a sole source acquisition from The Boeing Company, there may be subcontracting opportunities. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Notes 22 (This is a noncompetitive procurement) & 26 (The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12).
