- This is a combined solicitation synopsis prepared in accordance with the Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Q0559 hereby issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses and NAICS code 444120 (SIC 5231) applies, which has a small business size standard of $6.0 million. The requirement consists of the following, (CLIN #, Quantity and Unit of Issue, Description. 0100, 7EA, Morline Instant Dry Cold Applied Low-VOC lead-free based white traffic paint. Part# HAVW1 delivered in 345 gallon containers. These paints must meet Alaska State specifications for instant dry highway marking paint. Paints must dry in less than 60 seconds with no pickup and designed for no heat application. Must be compatible for air or airless equipment application without the need for coning and with minimal traffic control. The material shall not show evidence of heavy caking or settling which requires mechanical means to return the product to usable condition for a period of one year . 0200, 6EA, Morline Instant Dry Cold Applied Low-VOV lead-free based Yellow Traffic Paint. Part# HWVY397-2 delivered in 345 gallon containers. These paints must meet Alaska State containers. These paints must meet Alaska State Specifications for Instant Dry Highway Marking Paint. Paints must dry in less than 60 seconds with no pick up and designed for no heat application. Must be compatible for air or airless equipment application without the need for coning and with minimal traffic control. The material shall not show evidence of heavy caking or settling which requires mechanical means to return the product to usable condition for a period of one year. 0300, 10EA, Morline Instant Dry Cold Applied Low-VOC lead-free based Black Traffic Paint. Part# SB2695A9 delivered in 50 gallon drums. These paints must meet Alaska State specifications for Instant Dry Marking Paint. Paints must dry in less than 60 seconds with no pick up and designed for air or airless equipment application without the need for coning and with minimal traffic control. The material shall not show evidence of heavy caking or settling which requires mechanical means to return the product to usable condition for a period of one year. 0400, 3EA Morline Low-VOC Solvent. Part# TLVC1 delivered in 55 gallon drums. 0500, 192EA Alaska Specifications Traffic Beads Type ?AC? (Adherence) Spheres must have a 1.5 refactive index and be treated for use with drop-on systems utilizing alkyd and chlorinated rubber paints. Unit of issue should be 50 lb bags.
