Description

NA SOURCES SOUGHT. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone Businesses. Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan anticipates the solicitation and award of a contract for Airfield Operations. The Base Operations function pro vides the following services to support the Selfridge ANG Base Airfield, but are not limited to: Base Operations, Airfield Facilities Management, Airfield Maintenance, Airfield Use/Access Control, Flight Line Driving Passes, Flight Planning publications a nd NOTAMS, Flight Services, Transient Aircrew Support, Emergency Response and Administration. Contractors must be fully qualified in all aspects of the requirement to be considered. Source selection procedures will be utilized to determine awardee. All i nterested HUBZone Business concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 12 June 2002. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, mu st include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, (2) Identification of firm with appropriate HUBZone status. Status of HUBZone contractors will be verified via SBA PRONET. (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of cont act for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate HUBZone contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it wil l be advertised as small business set aside.
