- NA The Propulsion and Structures Directorate, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Research and Development Engineering Center (RDEC) plans to award from 4 - 6 basic research contracts for the research, development, and testing of solid rocket propulsion te chnology for application in U.S Army missile systems. Central to these requirements is a three-fold focus on enhanced performance, reduced sensitivity, and environmental compliance. Therefore, as a part of these efforts, all technology development should address the specific issues of the goal at hand, whether that goal be performance, reduced sensitivity, or environmental compliance without neglecting either of the other two objectives central to this requirement. The government will fully utilize the www to issue the solicitation and amendments; offerors shall access the www for obtaining the solicitation and amendments when issued. However, if accessing the www should prove an untenable hardship, a hardcopy of t he solicitation will be provided on a case-by-case basis upon specific written request, but shall in no means be construed as a basis for extensions of the proposal reciept date. No telephone requests for the solicitations will be accepted. Request must be emailed to: john.mason@redstone.army.mil or ed.askew@redstone.army.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. See Numbered Notes 13 and 23.
