- NA Solicitation DAAH01-02-R-0185 for Position/Navigation Systems in support of the Line-of-Sight Anti-Tank (LOSAT) Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) Program will be issued on a sole source basis to Smith Industries Incorporated, Grand Rapids, M ichigan 49512-1991. The thirteen (13) Position/Navigation Systems for the LOSAT ACTD are each comprised of a Remote Display Unit, an Inertial Reference Unit (IRU), an IRU Mount, and a Distance Measurement Unit. The thirteen Position/Navigation Systems a re being solicited as a base requirement of seven (7) systems with an option for an additional six (6) systems. Delivery of the first two systems of the base requirement must occur on or before September 30, 2002. Reference notes 22 and 26.
