Description

NA Solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Quantity is 124,092 each BSU-33B/B Fin Assembly which attaches to the 500 pound, MK82 Series, General Purpose Bomb. The BSU-33 Fin is approximately 26 inches in length, 15.6 inches in diameter with a weight of 22.1 pounds. The fin and subassemblies are fabricated from steel alloys, cut, formed machined, assembled and welded to drawing requirements. Outer surfaces are powder coated in accordance with specifications. The fin employs a quick attach system, usi ng a single screw to clamp a ring into the bomb v-groove. Each blade has 2.5 degree wedges to induce spin and improve stability and accuracy. The BSU-33 Fin is palletized using the ADU-426/E Pallet Adapter, manufactured or procured by the contractor. Issu e date is O/A 15 June with closing date 30 days after issue. Award will be based on Best Value, Past Performance criteria identified in the solicitation. Technical Data Package (TDP) is rated Distribution D and will not be available on the internet.
