- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) New Focus model 6328-D, an external cavity tunable diode laser head, covering the region of 1510 to 1580 nm, (Quantity - 1 each) to be compatible with and calibrated to, the customers New Focus Velocity 6300 series diode laser controller; and 2) New Focus model 6330-D, an external cavity tunable diode laser head, covering the region of 1560 to 1640 nm, (Quantity - 1 each) to be compatible with, and calibrated to, the customers New Focus Velocity 6300 series diode laser controller. This requirement is sole sourced to New Focus, Inc. for compatibility with existing New Focus controller. Any firm believing that they can provide the equipment may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
