- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to procure the Administrative Services associated with the operation/oversight of the IRS/NTEU FY2002 Child Care Tuition Assistance Program. The acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), solicitation document number TIRNO-02-Q-00098. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those set forth in FAR Part 13 shall be used. Contractors shall provide a technical proposal/quote for the administrative fee to perform the services associated with the IRS/NTEU Child Care Tuition Assistance Program in accordance with the Statement of Work. The IRS requires the services of a contractor to process tuition assistance applications and determine employee eligibility. The contractor must also be able to receive a specified sum of money from IRS and distribute the funds to childcare providers as tuition assistance. The funds that are to be distributed to licensed childcare providers are estimated at $1,000,000.00 minus the administrative fee. The period of performance is from the Date of Award through September 30, 2002. All responsible sources who can provide the above requested services must submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation package by 12:00 p.m. June 13, 2002. Award will be made to the firm meeting the technical evaluation criteria at the best overall value to the government. All questions and requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing and received by facsimile (202) 283-1511. All quotations must be received by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, June 27, 2002. Quotes may be sent by facsimile to (202) 283-1511 or by mail as referenced above. All quotes shall include price(s); FOB Point; POC (Name and Telephone Number); GSA Number if applicable; business size and payment terms
