- Description
- Scope of work includes but is not limited to, mechanical, architectural and electrical work to install a stair lift system in the vestibule to provide an accessible main entrance. The project will also include relocation of security equipment to a new screening area and installation of a new doorway from the vestibule to the new security screening area. Modifications to the two existing storefronts in the vestibule include storefront relocation and hardware upgrades to accommodate the new stair lift and provide heightened security. Estimated cost range between $100,000 and $200,000. NAICS is 233320. This is a negotiated procurement NOT sealed bid, and is open to all. The solicitation CD will be available on or about June 19, 2002. General Services Administration, PBS, Great Lakes Region, Property Management Division, Contract Support Services Branch, 5PMC, no longer issues construction solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified building information (SBU). For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the attached ?Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors (see modification 01 in FedBizOps).? In addition, all of the following information must be submitted and or provided by the requester via the spaces provided in the Notice. 1. Copy of business license 2. Company?s Dun and Bradstreet number 3. Valid Tax Identification Number 4. A valid picture state driver?s license ( for person(s) picking up SBU documents) The Notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. No e-mail copies will be accepted; however facsimiles will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the solicitation will be released in compact disc form to the requester. Please read the notice carefully as it contains additional requirements and information regarding SBU building information.
