- Description
- This synopsis is notification of the Agency intent to extend contract DECA02-97-D-0012 for a period of six months from August 1, 2002 through January 31, 2003, to the incumbent contractor - Northeast Military Sales, Inc. 17 Sherwood Drive, Sterling MA 01564. A competitive contract was originally awarded in March 1997 for deli-bakery services at six military commissary locations; Fort Belvoir, VA., Quantico, VA., Dover AFB, DE. , Andrews AFB, MD., Patuxent River, MD. and Bolling AFB, D.C. The extension is performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is a requirements contract with a fixed percentage of savings. The extension will provide uninterrupted services of the delicatessen and bakery resale operations at the stores indicated above pending the award of the new contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302.1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency requirements.See Numbered Note(s) 22.
