- Description
- Basic three year period indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to repair or replace metal roofs at Hill Air Force Base, Utah Test and Training Range, and Little Mountain Facility. Delivery orders will be issued on an ?as needed? basis. The first delivery order may be negotiated with the successful contractor and awarded at the same time as the basic contract. The contractor will be guaranteed a minimum of $2,500.00 over the life of the contract. The maximum the government shall order over the life of the contract will be $3,000,000.00. A bid bond of $100,000.00 is required with the bid. A performance bond of $500,000 and a payment bond of $500,000 is required from the successful contractor after award. There will be multiple Wage Determinations applicable to this solicitation. A pre-bid conference will be held 5 March, 2002, 9:00 a.m., in Building 1289 NE, Conference Room 2. Performance Period: 3 years after date of contract award. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
