- Description
- The Government will issue a Solicitation for Weekly Bread deliveries on or about 1 August 2002. The Government intends to award a Requirements Contract to the Contractor who bids the lowest price, offers any discounts and who in the Government's opinion offers the best value to the Government. The Contractor will provide (1) ROLLS, HOAGIE/SUBMARINE, FRESH, SLICED, WHITE, HEARTH BAKED, 6 / PG. (2) BREAD, WHITE FRESH, SLICED, PAN BAKED, SANDWICH, ENRICHED, 24 OZ. PG. (3) BREAD, RYE, FRESH, SLICED, PAN BAKED, ROUND TOP, 16 OZ. PG. (4) BREAD, WHEAT, FRESH, PAN BAKED, SANDWICH, 24 OZ. PG. (5) ROLLS, FRANKFURTER, FRESH, SLICED, WHITE, PAN BAKED, ENRICHED, 12/ PG. (6) ROLLS, DINNER, FRESH, WHITE, PAN BAKED, SPLIT TOP, ENRICHED, 10 PER 13 OZ. PG. (7) ROLLS, HAMBURGER, FRESH, WHITE, PAN BAKED, ENRICHED, 12 / PG. (8) KOSHER, WHITE BREAD, FRESH, 16 OZ. TO 24 OZ. PG. and (9) KOSHER, WHOLE WHEAT BREAD, FRESH, 16 OZ. TO 24 OZ. PG. Bread products containing no animal fats on a weekly basis. The Food Service Department will submit a monthly Delivery Order to the Contracting Officer and send a Delivery Schedule to the Contractor listing the number of packages of each item to be delivered each delivery day. The Normal Delivery Days are Monday and Fridays (Except Holidays). The Contractor shall follow the Delivery Schedule and deliver only the quantities asked for, even if they have to deliver the balance the next working day. The Contractor is giving enough lead time that you shall not deliver more than what is asked for by the Delivery Schedule, if you do the extra quantities will be refused at the warehouse and become the responsibility of the Contractor and not the Government. The performance period will be from date of award or 1 October 2002 (which ever comes first) to 30 September 2003. All bids are due on September 5, 2002.
