Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) announces a subcontracting opportunity for Construction Management Firms. The NIH, in conjunction with the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Disease, through a Development Management contract with Higgins Development Partners, LLC, is going to be constructing a new BSL 4 Laboratory facility at the NIH's Rocky Mountain Laboratories campus in Hamilton, Montana. Higgins Development Partners, LLC is seeking expressions of interest from Construction Management firms who have experience managing and building BSL 3, BSL 3AG, BSL 4, or other high technology or high containment laboratory facilities. It is anticipated that this laboratory facility will be about 55,000 GSF, with an estimated construction cost of $40 to $45 Million dollars, including GC's and Fee. Interested firms must be able to demonstrate experience on multiple complex laboratory projects of this size and value. Expressions of Interest are required to be submitted by no later than 5:00 PM EST on June 19, 2002. The Expression of Interest should contain a brief bio of your firm, with brief supporting corporate project information that establishes experience in similar projects. Information should be submitted in hard copy only. If the information is not easily photocopied, then 5 copies should be submitted. All qualified respondents will receive a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document that will outline the formal qualification information that will need to be submitted, as well as outline the selection process that will be followed. Be sure to indicate the name, address and phone number of the individual who should receive the RFQ document.
