- Y -- SOURCES SOUGHT The U. S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set-aside an acquisition for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns only. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 233320 and the small business size standard is $28.5 Million. The acquisition is a mid-life renovation of a thirty-year-old applied instruction building. The architectural work includes building code-required upgrades, and repair or replacement of finishes throughout the building. The interior will be painted. Fire doors will be replaced to comply with code. The exterior walls will be pressure washed and recaulked. Light fixtures will be replaced or upgraded to comply with EPA Green Lights standards. The fire alarm system will be updated. Additional electrical service will be provided for the offices. At the present time, the acquisition is expected to be issued under full and open competition procedures. However, in accordance with FAR 19.1305, if your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to submit an offer on this acquisition, please respond by e-mail or facsimile to Mrs. Donna E.
