ITEM: Flight Control Test Set*** PART NUMBER: AS111694*** NSN: 4920-01-126-1759RN*** QUANTITY: 2 Each*** DELIVERY REQUIRED By 29 Nov 2002*** REQUEST FOR Proposal Will Be Posted To This Notice On Or About 24 Jun 2002*** DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE*** EXPORT CONTROLLED: NO*** GENERAL ITEM CHARACTERISTICS: Test Set for Emergency Power Unit System. Electrical Requirements: 28 vdc at 1 amp. Pneumatic Requirements: Gaseous nitrogen at 400 psi (nominal) and 55 psi (minimum). Dimensions (approximate): L = 22.44 inches, W = 14.06 inches, H = 16.38 inches, Weight = 60 lbs. Consists of a panel assembly, two cable assemblies, two hose assemblies, a contents plate, a schematic diagram, and spare lamps contained within a carrying case. The panel assembly is fastened to the bottom hald of the carrying case; the cableassemblies and hose assemblies are stowed in a storage compartment in the upper half of the carrying case; the contents plate and schematic diagram are cemented to the storage compartment lid; and the spare lamps are contained in a padded box on the storage compartment lid. The panel assembly consists of electrical and pneumatic components mounted on a panel and on a chassis assembly. The test set is used to functionally test components of the EPU system with the system installed in the aircraft. The test set contains circuits for testing the airborne emergency power unit system (EPU) with the EPU system installed in the aircraft. Components of the test set include: Power supply circuit, Lamp test circuit, Sensor continuity circuit, Augment circuit, Simulated turbine speed circuit, Controller response circuit, and Gaseous nitrogen circuit. Application is for the F-16 A/B aircraft.
