Description

The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, transportation and other services necessary to add chilled water heater exchanger to building 6000, DIA, located on Bolling AFB, DC. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement on terms of physical characteristics and estimated range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System code is 235110 with the size standard being $7.0 million. The period of performance period for this requirement is 194 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors? past and present performance history and technical is more important than price. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED 8(a) CONTRACTORS. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 17 June 2002: http://www.eps.gov. Closing date of this solicitation will be 16 July 2002. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. **NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
