Description

NA DESC: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract for Construction Services for construction of military facilities, Site 276, located on an Israeli Defense Forces Base, near Jerusalem, Israel. The proposed facilities construction will be administered under Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and United States procurement laws and regulations. Contract will be awarded and paid in U.S. dollars. Under the Wye River Accords, the procurement is restricted to United States firms, Israeli firms or U.S./Israeli Joint Ventures. In addition, construction materials must be manufactured in Israel, to the extent such materials satisfy contract requirements. Contractors may bring into Israel nationals of the U.S. and third countries having diplomatic relations with Israel for the pu rpose of accomplishing the work. The project includes a 6-story, 9,000 sq.m. main building; a 3-story, 1,350 sq.m. energy center; staff quarters; and associated infrastructure including earthworks, roads, parking areas, sidewalks, outdoor/street lighting, fuel lines, underground fuel tanks, and water/sewage/drainage works. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 01 July 2002. Proposals will be received on or about 01 September 2002. Estimated cost of proposed procurement is in the range of $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Estimated completion time: 820 Calendar Days: SIC code 1541. Plans and specifications will be issued on CD-ROM only and limited to one (1) set per offeror. A site visit has been scheduled for, on or about, 25 July 2002.
