Description: NA This is a synopsis performed in accordance with FAR 5.207. The Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District intends to compete an order for the removal of an existing septic system at its Fountain City, WI service base. The order will also entail the delive ry and installation of a new sewage lift station. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and equipment required to remove the existing system and install the new system. The only materials f urnished by the Government will be crushed rock/gravel. A Firm Fixed Price order will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR part 13 for this effort. The estimated period of performance is 18 days. The proposed Request for Quotation will utilize Full and Open Competition. There will be no Small Business Set-Asides. The Contracting Officer has determined the NAICS code for this effort to be 235110. Estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Request for Quotation and all documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet, on or about 12 June 2002 at the St. Paul District's Website, https://mvpwww.mvp.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp . Interested parties are encouraged to inspe ct the site prior to submitting a quotation. Site visits should be coordinated with Bryan Peterson at (608) 687-8753. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for the release of the Request for Quotation and amendments (if appl icable).
