Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington, DC has a requirement for the Naval Financial Management Career Center, NFMCC, Pensacola, FL to develop and provide a graduate level education program in Public Administration with a concentration in Business Management for the Department of Defense, DOD, civilian financial management employees within the Washington, DC metropolitan area and/or distance education delivery to designated geographic locations. Services include but are not limited to: 1) delivery of course online via internet, 2) capability to deliver entire program via internet when applicable for courses to DOD students outside the Washington metropolitan area, 3) provide academic instruction and learning experiences tailored to meet the needs of the DOD students and DOD agencies, 4) public management, 5) managerial accounting and budgeting, and 6) public finance. The complete statement of work with all the required services will be included in the solicitation package. Award of a Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The contract will consist of a base year and two one year option periods. The FAR clauses 52-217-9 "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract " (3/2000) and 52-217-8 "Option to Extend Services" (11/1999) will be included. This requirement is unrestricted, full and open competition. All responsible sources which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. The Federal Supply Class/ Service Code (FSC/SVC) for this requirement is U099. The North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 611310. Release of the solicitation is expected around mid-June.
