Description

The Postal Service intends to award on a noncompetitive basis a contract to Johnston McLamb CASE Solutions (JMCS) to provide continued development, upgrade and maintenance services for critical Information Technology (IT) systems and applications. The contract will replace Contract 102590-99-Z-1103 and will consist of one base year and one option year, effective 9/7/02. JMCS has been supporting the Postal Service since 1993 and has gained unique and in-depth knowledge of the Postal Computing Environment (PCE) and has been instrumental in the design, development and deployment of a number of mission critical systems/applications including: eTravel, eFleet Card Support, International Money Order (IMO) System, National Performance Assessment System, Activity Based Costing, Audit Tracking System, Business Case System, CTO web page, Customer Satisfaction Measurement System, Diversity Reporting System, Financial Data Mart, Money Order Inquiry System (MOIS), Program Tracking and Reporting System (PTRS), and the Time and Attendance Collection System (TACS). The USPS has determined that continuation of the strategic business relationship with JMCS represents a compelling business interest and most effectively satisfies the Postal Services business objectives in accordance with the USPS Purchasing Manual, Chapter 2 "Purchase Planning". NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
