- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. A quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73FAB21000100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. This acquisition is under NAICS code 235990. This requirement is for dismantling and removal of a C-141 aircraft tail stand. The Fire department of Altus AFB, OK will inspect welding and cutting equipment used by contractor before work begins. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, (Oct 2000). It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer on company letterhead to 97 CONS/LGCA, 205 s. 6th St Bldg. 318, Altus AFB, OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 (4:30 p.m.) CST, 24 August 2001. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-7472. The Government reserves the right to make award without discussions. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (May 2001.
