- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. This is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid and will be used to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform the following type of work. Hill Air Force Base, Utah has a requirement for the survey, repair, and or modification of existing Fire Suppression Systems (wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, AFFF, fire pumps, post indicator valves (PIV) and or fire hydrants) in facilities located at Hill AFB, the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) and the Little Mountain Test Annex. The contractor will provide all parts, material and labor to modify an existing system to conform to customer requirements or code changes. The contractor may be tasked to perform surveys and based on survey results perform remedial maintenance in approximately 80 percent of the buildings located at these facilities. Of these facilities, the contractor may be tasked to perform modifications to bring these systems up to NFPA code.
