Description

NA The US Army Communications and Electronics Command anticipates entering a sole source procurement with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, PO Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06497-9129, NSN # 1680-01-279-5453, P/N 1125992, which is part of the UH-60 A utomated Flight Control System (AFCS) of the Black Hawk Helicopter. This requirement is under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 ( c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) based on the determination that the Government needs can be satisfied by only one sour ce. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. The right to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government. Firms that recognize and can product the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. This acquisition is a Firm Fixed Price- Requirements type Contract with a maximum ordering potential of 900 items over the 5 years. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Interactive Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bid (IFBs) from CECOM to I ndustry.
