Description

NA The Walla Walla District Corps of Engineers intends to award a SOLE SOURCE commercial item contract to MTL, Inc., in accordance with the authority in FAR 13.5. Subject contract will be for component parts for the RTU sub-system needed to implement the new Generic Data Acquisition and Control System (GDACS) at the four Lower Snake River plants and Dworshak Dam. The MTL IO is the interface between the digital control system and the analog environment. These pieces must install into an existing MTL installa tion. After extensive research and testing the MTL IO was the option selected to meet Government needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The size standard for small business concerns under NAICS 334511 is 750 employees.
