- Description
- NUWC Division Keyport is seeking sources for the following: 1 each Digital Tester, Baker Instrument Model D6R 6KV Surge/Hipot Tester with built in data storage external printer and foot switch total gross weight 48 lbs, and total net weight 40 lb and the (MTA-5.0 Windows Version software to operate with the tester or equivalent. The following are the salient characteristics the system must meet: Digital Test System with the ability to store test data for up to 10 motors, to include the following data, 3 surge waveforms (one/phase), amplitude versus time, surge test peak amplitude, DC hipot voltage, leakage current, and insulation resistance. Digital Test System must be capable of performing in the following tests: Test 1: Surge Test: Max Output Voltage 6000 Volts, Max Output Current 100 amps, Max pulse energy 0.72 joules; Test 2: DC Hipot Potential Test: Max Output Voltage 60 00 Volts, Max Output current 1000 ?Amps, Over current trip 1/10/100/1000 ?Amps, Current resolution 0.1/1/10/100 ?Amps per div. Test 3: Resistance Test: The tester shall be capable of measuring low resistance with four wire measurements from 10 mohms to 200 ohms. Digital Capabilities: The digital nature of the tester should allow the waveform test from one phase (coil) to be saved so as to match the waveform from a different coil. All test data shall be capable of being uploaded on to the depot computer system database for later retrieval and for possible further analysis. The software package shall provide the capability to dissect the test data and to provide additional analysis as to the nature of the fault in question. The tester shall come with a printer so as to provide hard copies of the test data on demand. The test system must be versatile enough so that it can be used on various motors types. All inquires must be provided by end of business on the 10th of June 2002.
