- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis of items manufactured by SNC Technologies Corporation, 65 Sandscreen road, Avon, CT 06001. The items to be purchased are forty seven (47) Colt M4A1 SIMS conversion Kits for FX rounds (part number 53055650). This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order/contract to SNC Technologies Corporation , Avon, CT 06001. Offerors who can furnish the same items listed above may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, pictures, etc? to include pricing data / information (FOB Destination). All responses must be received by 19 June 2002. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result to analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed with resulting in award under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responsible firms responding to this synopsis will be considered if the action is competed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
