Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FQCES120560300 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) seeking written offers for inspection, testing and maintenance on Fire Pumps and Aqueous Film Foaming Foam (AFFF) Randolph Air Force Base, TX a copy of the statement of work is located in Electronic Posting System]. The provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS is 92216 and the business size standard is $5.0 million. The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the quote that provides the best value to the government. The performance period is 1 July 2002 through 30 September 2004 to include a basic period from 1 July 02 through 30 September 02. A (1) one year options period from 1 October 02 through 30 September 03. And (2) two six month option periods from 1 October 03 through 31 March 04 and from 1 Apr 04 through 30 September 04. Interested parties capable of providing the above must contact TSgt Lewis @ 210-652-5121 to schedule a site visit. A written price quote to include discount terms must be submitted. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
