- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order to Northrop Grumman Litton Advanced Systems (NGLAS) of San Jose, CA to manufacture, test, and install components to upgrade the AN/ALR-67E(V)2 Quadrant Receiver. The RF Amplifier Shop Replaceable Assembly is a drop-in replacement for the current RF Amplifier, and will be accomplished at the Intermediate Maintenance level. NAVAIR intends to purchase a total of 1,176 quadrant amplifiers. NGLAS is the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, tooling, and special test equipment necessary to produce the components in a timely manner.
