Description

Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order to the Joint Venture (JV) of ITT Industries/Northrop Grumman in Clifton, NJ to determine repairs of the AN/ALQ-165(V) systems. As the depot for ASPJ, JV will examine the United States Navy WRAs and SRAs and determine repair requirements and repair cost estimates. Materials needed to repair or replace damaged components will be procured in anticipation of actual need, especially long-lead items. The WRAs will be returned to the fleet in a serviceable, not new condition. JV is the designer, developer and sole producer of the AN/ALQ-165(V) ASPJ system and the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, facilities, tooling and special test equipment necessary to repair all components in a timely manner.
