Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, intends to award a contract in support of the Agency's Counterterrorism (CT) Training Program. This program provides training for entry-level, mid-career, and senior-level analysts and managers throughout DoD and the broader intelligence and law enforcement communities. The objective of the contract is to provide two full-time persons to develop, update, and instruct counterterrorism subjects, particularly through Mobile Training Teams (MTT) and facilitate the operations of the Counterterrorism Training Program. The primary contractor responsibility shall be able to instruct up to twelve (12) 5-day MTT classes per year. The mobile training will take place in CONUS as well as OCONUS. The contract will be for a base year plus three (3) option years. The majority of the work will take place at Building 6000, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. The solicitation, when released, will be in the form of a Request for Proposals and will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation will be available for response on a fully open and competitive basis. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 25 June 2002. It is contemplated the resulting contract will be Fixed Price Level of Effort. The contractor will be furnished workspace in building 6000. Work performed under the contract will be at the Top Secret SCI level and assigned personnel must be cleared at the Top Secret SCI level. Companies must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible to receive a DoD contract. Registration can be accomplished at the following URL: http://www.ccr2000.com.
