Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure forty-five (45) each Carrier Transicold Compressor Units, Stock Number 4130-01-459-4305, P/N 06DE-8240DA0600, in support of the AC Systems installed onboard the 110? WPB Coast Guard vessels. The Compressor Units shall be new complete with hot gas by-pass capacity controls and unloaders (2 each, P/N 17-55018-01), 4-bolt suction valve (1 each, P/N 06DA660063), 2-bolt discharge valve (1 each, P/N 06DA660062), crankcase heater (1 each, P/N 06EA660165) and external motor overloads (2 each P/N HN69GZ-024). Suction and discharge valves are to be packaged separately and shall include required bolting and gaskets. Compressor shall be completely assembled to the maximum extent practicable and ready for shipboard installation. It is the Government?s belief that only Carrier Transicold and/or their authorized distributors can provide these Compressor units. All technical and engineering data required to successfully manufacture these items is proprietary to Carrier Transicold therefore, only the Carrier Transicold part number(s) cited in this notice shall be accepted. No substitutes shall be considered. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and TAM 1206.302. See Numbered Note 22. Interested sources that can provide the part numbers being requested may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) Package, Number DTCG40-02-Q-50125, shall be available for download on or about 10 April 2002. Quotations shall be due by the close of business on 17 June 2002. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. #86, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Delivery of all items shall be no more than 90 calendar days after the date of award. Staggered deliveries are acceptable. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 333415 with a size standard of 750 employees.
