Description

NA The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, supplies, parts and transportation to perform start-up services for cooling systems and equipment located at various facilities on Fort Jackson, South Carolina. This contract shall con sists of two parts. The first part is performing chiller start-up and the second part is to respond to service calls. The equipment consist of a number of manufacturers, Carrier, Trane, Dunham Bush, York, Trane, and Mcquay. This is a multiyear contract, a base year with two option years. The contract shall begin, October 1, 2002 and continue through September 30, 2005. NOTE: This requirement is being considered for Small Business Set-Aside. All interested Small Businesses shall submit a written certifica tion of its intent to submit a quote on the solicitation and shall be received before close of business(4:15 PM EST) on the seventh day after the date of the publication of this synopsis. (Certifications may be faxed to the attention of the Purchasing Agen t, Barbara Parris, (803) 751-5429)or E-mailed. If the government does not receive two or more written certifications by this date the solicitation will be released as UNRESTRICTED and the Small Business Set-Aside requirement will be dessolved. The NAICS C ode is 811310, size standard is, $5 million. Request for Quotation will be issued approximately, August 1, 2002, with quotations due back August 28, 2002. Telephone request for RFQ will not be honored. Telefax request may be sent to (803) 751-5429 or e-m ail (see below) and must include complete company name, mailing address and street address, company Point of Contact, and the RFQ number. All quoters must be registered in the, Central Contractor Registration.
