Description

This announcement modifies the synopsis posted on 31 May 2002 for the Naval Air Systems Command requirement for additional manhours for performance of maintenance and repairs required on EA-6B Aircraft under Contract N00019-00-C-0413 with Northrop Grumman Corporation, St. Augustine, FL. The estimated number of hours is changed from 61,000 to 90,000 for repairs and maintenance incidental to Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) and repairs incidental to modifications (RIM) being performed by Northrop Grumman Corporation under Contract N00019-01-C-0020 at St. Augustine and must be performed concurrently with the modification and SDLM effort. This requirement will be procured on a sole source basis by modification of Contract N00019-00-C-0413. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the EA-6B aircrft and as such, is the only known source with the enginering expertise, source data, facilities and knowledge to provide the SDLM and modification efforts.
