Description
This solicitation is being advertised to award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multi Trade Construction contract for various locations Okinawa, Japan. A maximum of four contractors will be awarded with a seed project. The size of each project that the Government anticipates awarding under this contract is between $2,500 and $300,000. The Not-to-Exceed amount for the base period and each option period is $6,000,000 and total amount for the three years period is $18,000,000. The scope of work may include but is not limited to building renovation, demolition, equipment repair/replacement, piping repair/replacement, pipe lagging, electrical work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, removal and disposal of lead based paint and asbestos containing material, welding and masonry, floor and window coverings (carpet, solar film, blinds, floor tiles, etc). These contracts will be awarded to offerors whose offer conform to the solicitation and provides the ?best value? to the Government. Offerors will be evaluated on the following technical factors: Management, Experience, and Past Performance. Price is considered of equal importance to all technical factors combined. Offerors are advised of the possibility that award may be made without discussions or any contact concerning the proposals received. Therefore, proposals should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms. The RFP is available through the WEB site only. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 June 2002 with a proposal due date of 25 July 2002.
