- Description
- The response date for this RFP published in this synopsis is the current estimated date. The actual due date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation when issued. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with Anritsu Company, for a 50 Mhz to 12.5 GHz Error Detector compatible with the Anritsu MP1763 and MP1755 prbs generators. It must have 50 mb/s to at least 12.5 Gb/s operation; Q and eye analysis capability; SONET retrofit capability; prbs lengths of 2n -1 where n equals 7, 9, 11, 15, 20, 23, and 31; input delay range of at least +500 ps; and error analysis package MP1764C*01. Anritsu Company, 1155 East Collins Blvd Suite 100 Richardson TX 75081, is the only known source of a system capable of operating to at least 12.5 GHz, can be retrofitted with SONET framing capability and is compatible with the Anritsu MP1763 and MP1755 prbs generators. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Any firm believing that they can provide the services required may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than forty-five (45) days after this notice is posted electronically, clearly showing it's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program. The U.S. Postal Service continues to irradiate letters, flats, Express and Priority Mail with stamps for postage and other packages with stamps for postage destined to government agencies in the ZIP Code ranges 202 through 205. Due to potential delays in receiving mail, offerors are encouraged to use alternatives to the mail when submitting their written responses.
