SOLE SOURCE TO HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL NOUN: BRACKET ASSEMBLY, NSN: 2915-01-082-1075NZ; P/N: 2663047-02; QTY: 6; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: OCT2002 to Tinker AFB, OK; APPLICABLE TO: F100PW200/229 Engine. SIZE/DIMENSIONS: 3 inches x 3.5 inches x 3 inches. WEIGHT: 1 lb. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Die Cast Aluminum FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: The Speed Receiver is mounted internally to the Unified Fuel Control, the Speed Receiver receives a signal from N2 sensor, and sends a signal to the UCF to increase or decrease the amount of fuel being sent to the engine. It is not anticipated that a paper solicitation will be issued. Anticipated award date: 24JUN02. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. The Government does not have sufficient data to approve sources. Government-furnished drawings are not available. TO: Honeywell International, Tempe, AZ. Authority: 10USC 2304(c)(1). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or Potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate In the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
