Description: Intensive archaeological survey of a proposed timber sale area and prescribed burn (approximately 10,000 acres). A pedestrian survey at 100% coverage (15 meter traverse interval or closer) of the project as shown on the maps. The purpose of this contract is to locate and record all cultural resource sites and representative isolated cultural materials within the project area, thereby enabling the Government to obtain clearance for the proposed undertakings via concurrence from SHPO, and to have documentation that will aid cultural resource management.
