Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) has identified a need to establish a national contract for Less Lethal Munitions. The Contractor shall provide Less Lethal Munitions to various FBOP locations throughout the United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico on an as needed Basis. This solicitation is anticipated to result in a single award, Indefinite Delivery/ Requirements with firm fixed unit prices. The anticipated term of the contract includes a base year period and four one year option periods. The estimated quantities for the base period and each subsequent option year period are 2550 Tactical Blast Grenade, 812 Tactical Blast Strip, 2781 Magnum Ultra Flash Stun Grenade, 2324 Foam Rubber Multiple Baton Round, 6503 60 Caliber Stinger 5 inch, 1628 Smoke Grenade, 815 Smoke Projectile, 4027 CS Triple Chaser, 2448 CS Handball Grenade, 3826 CS Speedheat Projectile , 4057 CS Speedheat Projectile (570), 4057 CS Speedheat Projectile (560), 5802 OC Grenade (T-16), 140 Projecto Jet, 815 Mark 21, 2326 Mark 09, 1851 Diversionary Device (23FB), 3969 Rubber Pellet Round (23SB), 3063 Rubber Sobot Round, 3063 Rubber Pellet Round (23HV), 3063 Bean Bag. The base year period will be from date of award through 12 months, Option Year 1 period shall be from 13 months through 24 months, Option Year 2 period shall be from 25 months through 36 months, Option Year 3 period shall be from 37 months through 48 months, and Option Year 4 period shall be from 49 months through 60 months. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis, open to both Small and Large business.. The FBOP anticipates posting the solicitation to the government electronic point of entry. Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fedbizops.gov) on or about June 17, 2002. Estimated due date for proposals is July 10, 2002. All responsible sources meeting the requirements listed in the solicitation may submit a proposal which will be considered by the FBOP. This replaces the notice that was erroneously posted under Central Office Business Office.
