Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to:B-1: (LAKE MACATAWA LTS) 1.1.1 Removing the existing AtoN poles at Drake Point Lt #4 and Middle Ground Light Lt#3, demolish and remove debris for the existing concrete cap that anchors the existing lights. Remove loose and spalling concrete from the existing concrete caisson. 1.1.2 Install temporary lights on the foundation every night while the light tower is down to provide temporary navigational marking during construction. Remove and dispose of the AtoN poles. Temporary light and battery shall be provided by Station Muskegon. 1.1.3 fabricate the steel jackets as shown for both lights. Install 144: diameter galvanized, corrugated steel form as shown. Work shall include fabrication of inner framing, ladders, and interior reinforcing steel, and anchors and related components. Use grout bas as necessary to level the forms and ensure watertight seals as required to perform work. Anchor in place and tremie concrete as shown. 1.1.4 Reset and secure the new government furnished AtoN pole to the new foundation and reinstall AtoN hardware to the poles. Remove the temporary light poles upon completion of work. 1.1.5 Work associated with these items are described in the specification and/or are shown on the contract drawings. Incidental work items not listed above and necessary for completing the project shall be included. B-2: (SAUGATUCK BREAKWATER LTS) 1.2.1 Demolish existing AtoN poles and foundations at both Saugatuck North and South Breakwater lights. Remove all anchor bolts such that the remaining foot print is level with the existing reinforced concrete break water caps. Dispose of all debris in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. 1.2.2 Install government furnished D9 cylindrical towers at each location. The contractor shall ensure a level installation of the tower bases. Apply a non-shrink, high strength grout base as necessary to level the surface. Grout shall be finished to ensure proper drainage away form the tower in all directions. Apply an elastomeric sealer, appropriate for exterior use to the tower base plate to provide waterproofing. Location of this project is USCG Station Muskegon, MI. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 235990 (former SIC Code 1799), the size standard is $11.5 million.
