Description
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to demolish existing Building 391 at USCG Pacific Strike Team. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Isolate gas supply to 2 existing boilers at shut off valve; disconnect, remove and dispose of existing 2-1/2? steel piping to nearest elbow of pipe riser; and cap existing piping at point of disconnections as indicated. B. Disconnect electrical power supply to the existing boiler Building 391 at the 240V main distribution panel in Hangar 2. Remove and dispose of electrical conduit and wiring from Building 391 to nearest junction box. Secure and terminate all wiring to be abandoned in place. C. Remove and dispose of supply and return hot water, and gas piping from Building 391 up to the point of disconnections indicated (Approx: 200LF, 2-1/2?-6?). Cap all piping at point of disconnections. D. Demolish, remove and dispose of existing metal Building 391 flush with existing concrete pad; mechanical and electrical utilities; and heating equipment attached and supported by the building structure. E. Demolish, remove and dispose of two ?Highlander? hot water fire tube boilers (Approximate dimensions: 5?-6? diameter by 16? long); boiler smokestacks; two ?Powerflame? gas burners rated at 4,710,000 BTUH input; three motorized-close-coupled circulating water pumps; four expansion tanks; one chemical feed pot; and all other heating equipment accessories and appurtenances. F. Saw cut, demolish, remove and dispose of existing building concrete slab (Approximate dimensions: 20?wide by 28?long by 12? thick) and two 4?wide by 4?long by 6?thick concrete pads as indicated. G. Provide new asphalt concrete pavement to match existing adjacent asphalt concrete overlay. H. Re-stripe three new parking stalls as indicated. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable NAICS code is 235940. Small Business size standard is $11.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered.
