- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0071 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. This procurement is set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235990. The business size standard is $12 million. Offutt AFB intends to issue a purchase order for a service to repair lap joints and flashings. The description of the project is as follows: This contract will be to repair the lap joints and flashings on Bldg. 457 (north 1/3, lower roof) by applying Hydrostop PremiumCoat System. The contractor shall pressure wash the area to be repaired to remove dirt, attached loose material and debris with a minimum of 3000 psi waterblast. The contractor shall apply a rust inhibitor prior to applying Hydrostop System. The contractor shall use Hydrostop PremiumCoat System on lap joints on metal panels. The width for the lap seam repair is 18?; the total length of lap seam repair is 2800 LF. The length for the flashing repair is 210 LF. The contractor is responsible for disposal of all job materials in accordance with state and federal regulations. The contractor shall follow all manufacturer recommendations and instructions for installation. The contractor must have completed the Hydrostop Application training. The contractor shall also keep MSDS on site. All work shall be accomplished during normal duty hours (730-1615 hours). The contractor shall follow all State and Federal Regulations and Standards. The contractor shall protect existing utilities and surrounding areas. The contractor at no expense to the government shall repair any damage to government property to the government and to the satisfaction of the contracting officer or designated representative. All items essential for the completion of this work and not specifically noted or specified shall be provided by the contractor and approved by the contracting officer or designated representative.
