Description

NA DESC: Solicitation Number DAMT01-02-R-0060 Headquarters, Military Traffic Management Command, (MTMC) is seeking SOURCES SOUGHT from the small business community for truckload/less than truckload freight of all kinds transportation services. It will be the Government?s intent to set-aside some lanes of the TTC program for small businesses. The industry size standards are published by the Small Business Administration and are available via the Internet at http://www.sba.gov/size. The SBA establishes small business size standards on an industry-by-industry basis. (See 13 CFR part 121.) Small business size standards are applied by: Classifying the product or service being acquired (484112 484230 & 484121) in the industry whose definition, as found in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Manual (available via the Internet at http://www.census.gov/epcd/www/naics.ht ml), best describes the principal nature of the product or service being acquired; identifying the size standard SBA established for that industry; and specifying the size standard so that offerors can appropriately represent themselves as small or large. For size standard purposes, a product or service shall be classified in only one industry, whose definition best describes the principal nature of the product or service being acquired even though for other purposes it could be classified in more than one. Interested parties should reply via email, NLT 1500HRS( 3PM) 14 JUNE 2002, as notices will be sent via email to companies furnishing email addresses.
