Description: It is the intent of this Request for Proposal to have a Contractor provide janitorial and linen services for the Regional Training unit at the Redmond Air Center in Redmond, Oregon. This is anticipated to be a five year contract, the Base year commencing 10/1/2002 with four option years ending 9/30/2007. Item 01 is a firm fixed contract item, and Item 02 is an Indefinite Quantity item. The Contracting Officer will issue task orders for the number of dorm rooms to be cleaned each week for Item 02. No Laundry facilities are located on the site, and the commercial cleaning of linens are a requirement of this contract. There will be a pre-bid meeting on approximately July 17, 2002 at 10:00 at the Redmond Air Center in Redmond, Oregon. Firm date will be in the solicitation. Date for issuing this solicitation is June 26. It will be uploaded in fedbizops on this date. This solicitation is being issued as a Commercial Items contract. A Quality Assurance plan will be required. For further information please refer to the contact personnel.
