- Description
- The NORTH FORK HUGHES RECREATION ACCESS ROAD, FISHING PIER, AND BOAT RAMP project is located adjacent to North Bend State Park near the Town of Harrisville in Ritchie County, Vest Virginia. Work will be performed at three sites, and involves the construction of facilities to serve public water based recreation. Four-thousand (4,000 feet of access roads, parking for 107 vehicles and trailers, two boat launch ramps and associated docking facilities, and three handicap accessible fishing piers will be constructed. Major items of work include 73,000 cubic yards of earth and rock excavation, 16,000 tons of Class I Aggregate base course, 236 cubic yards of reinforced concrete, 17 precast concrete slabs, five precast concrete box beams, 540 feet of corrugated metal pipe, 1,020 feet of railings, 3,050 tons of loose rock riprap, 11 acres of seeding and mulching, and two floating boat docks. The site showing is scheduled for Friday, July 12, 2002 at 10:00a.m. at the Harrisville City Building. To reach the City Building, follow Route 50, either east off I-77 or west off I-79, to the Ellenboro/Harrisville exit, which is approximately 20 miles east of Parkersburg, West Virginia. The Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) for this project is Sam Ware, Telephone: 304-422-9072, extension 35. The estimated range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The required performance time is 276 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 234990 and the Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million. The Invitation for Bid Package (IFB) will be issued on June 27, 2002.
