Description
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Portugal invites bids for the extension of the Portuguese Command and Control System(POACCS) to the Portuguese Archipelago of Madeira. The scope of the work is the provision , installation, integration and test of all the goods needed including: (A) Radar Subsystem : A Fixed Positioned Air Defense Radar shall be installed in Madeira Island and composed of the following: * One PSR-3D Long Range Radar: the radar requirement specifications will be in accordance with the "Technical Requirements Specification for ADGE/ACCS Ground-based Surveillance Radars (AC/4-D(98)10). * One SSR equipped with IFF Mark XII Mode 4/Super Mode 4 capability and growth capability to Mode S; * One Radar Environment Simulator (RES); * A Radome for environmental protection to the antenna; * A Remote Monitoring and Control Console and a remote Radar Environment Simulator controller shall be installed in the ACC (Monsanto) bunker. (B) Communications Subsystem: The Communications subsystem shall be composed of the following areas: * Ground/Ground communications; * Ground/Air/Ground communications; * Link 11 communications; * Ancillary equipment The Cahier des Charges will contain information up to and including NATO Confidential. Therefore, all applicants will need to be security cleared to the NATO Confidential level. All applicants must also be NATO certified by the NATO Certification officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office Of Telecommunications Technologies.
